Position Summary

The Senior Product Manager, WMS serves as the business owner and product leader for East Coast Warehouse's warehouse technology portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain & Enterprise Technology, this role is responsible for defining the product roadmap, driving business process improvements, leading technology initiatives, and ensuring our warehouse systems continue to support operational excellence, customer growth, and scalable expansion across our network.

This position partners closely with Operations, Client Services, Engineering, Application Development, Infrastructure, and executive leadership to deliver technology solutions that improve warehouse productivity, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate combines strong warehouse operations knowledge with deep Warehouse Management System expertise and a passion for solving complex business challenges through technology.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Own the strategic roadmap for East Coast Warehouse's Warehouse Management System ecosystem.
  • Develop and prioritize product enhancements based on operational value, customer requirements, and business strategy.
  • Evaluate emerging warehouse technologies and recommend future capabilities that support company growth.
  • Manage the application lifecycle from concept through implementation and continuous improvement.
Warehouse Technology Portfolio

Serve as Product Owner for warehouse technologies including:

  • Infor CloudSuite WMS
  • myECW Customer Portal
  • Loftware, NiceLabel and warehouse labeling solutions
  • Small Parcel shipping platforms
  • Labor Management System (LMS) initiatives
  • Warehouse mobility and RF technologies
  • Additional warehouse applications supporting fulfillment and distribution operations
Business Process Improvement
  • Partner with warehouse operations to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process standardization.
  • Analyze current workflows and design scalable future-state business processes.
  • Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives across multiple facilities.
  • Champion operational excellence through technology.
Customer & Facility Implementations
  • Lead warehouse technology workstreams for new customer onboarding.
  • Support startup activities for new warehouse facilities.
  • Coordinate solution design, system configuration, testing, user acceptance, and production readiness.
  • Ensure successful deployment of technology solutions during customer implementations and facility launches.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Translate operational needs into functional specifications and development priorities.
  • Work closely with internal software developers, infrastructure teams, implementation teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing, release planning, and production deployments.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and drive continuous improvement.
Operational Support & Governance
  • Serve as the functional subject matter expert for warehouse technology solutions.
  • Analyze production issues and coordinate long-term corrective actions.
  • Develop documentation, standard operating procedures, and product governance.
  • Promote user adoption through training, communication, and change management.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five to seven years of experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems within a distribution, fulfillment, or third-party logistics environment.
  • Experience leading WMS implementations, system enhancements, or major business process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and customer onboarding.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both operational and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Infor CloudSuite WMS is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with one or more enterprise Warehouse Management Systems such as Blue Yonder, Körber, Manhattan, Made4Net/Zethcon, or Tecsys will also be considered.
  • Third‑party logistics (3PL) experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi‑customer warehouse environments.
  • Experience with warehouse labeling solutions such as Loftware, NiceLabel and BarTender
  • Experience with Labor Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience with Small Parcel shipping platforms.
  • Familiarity with API and EDI integrations.
  • Experience working within Agile product delivery environments.
Success in this Role
