Job summary

Primis in New York City is seeking a Senior/Lead Product Manager to own a brand-new vertical within an established platform. This zero-to-one build covers user-facing experiences, payments and money-movement flows, and compliance-driven design for both end users and admin teams.

You'll sit with engineering and design, own outcomes end-to-end, and lead discovery, strategy, and cross-functional delivery in a regulated space.

• 5+ years as a PM with consumer-facing product experience.
• Experience in fintech or regulated domains is a plus.

Senior/Lead Product Manager, New Vertical (0-1) | NYC Hybrid

Primis are hiring a Senior/Lead PM for a mission-driven, well-funded, venture-backed startup.

This is a true zero-to-one build.

You'll own an entirely new product vertical from scratch: user-facing experience, payment and money flows, and compliance-driven design, spanning both the end-user side and the admin/operational side. You'll sit directly with engineering and design and own the outcome end to end, not just coordinate it.

What you'll do:

• Lead discovery and strategy for a brand new product line inside an established platform
• Design and ship both consumer-facing flows (for the people actually using the product) and admin-level tooling, translating complex, regulated workflows into clear UX
• Work cross-functionally across teams given deep interdependencies with the rest of the platform
• Build from the ground up: no existing roadmap to inherit, no legacy system to maintain

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years as a PM with consumer-facing product experience within a broader B2B or B2B2C platform, ideally with direct payments or money-movement work
• Real zero-to-one evidence, not just feature work on an existing roadmap
• Comfort with regulatory or compliance-heavy domains (fintech, healthtech, insurtech, or similar)
• A builder, not just a strategist: someone who sits with the team rather than directing from a distance
