Job description

Decision Lens is seeking a Senior Product Manager who can transform customer problems into valuable product capabilities. This role goes beyond translating requests into features by listening closely, asking thoughtful questions, and uncovering the underlying problem behind each request.

You will engage directly with customers to understand their goals and workflows, connect what you hear to broader patterns and opportunities, and work across the organization to turn those insights into capabilities that solve problems. This role requires someone who can hold the big picture and get into the details: determining what is worth solving and why, defining a thoughtful solution, partnering with technical teams to deliver it, and clearly communicating why it matters.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable talking with a customer about the bigger problems they are trying to solve, working with an engineer on technical details, presenting a new capability to an executive, and helping internals team understand its value. Most importantly, you care about value over output.

Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Discovery & Direction

Engage directly with customers to understand their goals, workflows, challenges, and unmet needs.

Identify patterns and opportunities that go beyond individual feature requests.

Evaluate opportunities based on customer value, business objectives, and strategic alignment to determine what to build and why.

Maintain a clear roadmap that reflects those priorities and communicate it to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.

Product Definition & Delivery

Define the problem, target users, use cases, desired outcomes, and value proposition for each opportunity.

Translate customer and business insights into clear product requirements and capabilities.

Partner with Engineering and Design to shape solutions, clarify requirements, and navigate tradeoffs.

Guide capabilities from ideation through release, maintaining alignment between the customer problem and what is being built.

AI & Market Insight

Apply AI tools and agents to accelerate research, analysis, documentation, and day-to-day product management work, freeing up time for higher-order thinking and better decisions.

Stay current on how customers are adopting AI in their own organizations and how AI-driven capabilities are reshaping the competitive landscape.

Use AI and market insights to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.

Enablement & Measurement

Develop training and enablement that spans the full product lifecycle, from aligning stakeholders on strategy and priorities to helping Engineering understand what gets built and why.

Equip teams to champion and adopt the product after release.

Use customer feedback, product analytics, and other signals to understand adoption and determine whether capabilities are delivering their intended outcomes.

Apply those insights to future product decisions.
