Genentech, Inc. is seeking a senior product leader to own the roadmap and delivery for scientific informatics products supporting assay requests, setup, execution and data capture.

You will translate experimental workflows into practical product requirements, collaborate with engineers and scientists, and drive adoption with measurable outcomes. The role requires deep drug discovery understanding, strong collaboration skills and experience delivering informatics solutions that enable analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline with informatics delivery experience.
• Substantial drug discovery understanding necessary for informing decisions and workflows.
• Experience translating scientific needs into usable informatics solutions.
• Ability to own delivery and outcomes within a defined scope.

Responsabilités

• Own the roadmap, prioritization and outcomes for assigned products within a product family.
• Translate assay workflows into practical product requirements that capture context and reduce manual entry.
• Define data, identifiers and metadata needed to interpret and reuse results.
• Coordinate with LIMS and data-layer teams to link context to results.
• Translate scientific needs into clear user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Define measurable outcomes like setup effort, metadata completeness and adoption.
