Job summary

Roche Genentech is seeking a senior product leader to own the informatics product subset that enables assay request, setup, execution and data capture within the CS CoE. You will translate scientific workflows into concrete product requirements, own the roadmap, and coordinate with LIMS and data-layer teams to ensure data context is captured and reusable for analysis and machine learning.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.
• PhD plus 1–3 years, a master’s degree plus 3–5 years, or a bachelor’s degree plus 4–7 years in related field.
• Substantial drug discovery understanding and collaboration with discovery scientists.
• Experience translating scientific problems into informatics solutions and owning delivery.
• Ability to define requirements, acceptance criteria and drive adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap, prioritization, and outcomes for assigned products within a product family.
• Translate assay workflows into practical product requirements and ensure data capture and metadata capture during request/setup and execution.
• Define data identifiers, relationships and metadata needed to interpret and reuse results; enable machine learning readiness.
• Coordinate with LIMS and data-layer teams to keep experimental context linked to results.
• Translate scientific needs into user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria; drive adoption and measurable outcomes.
• Prioritize workflow improvements to reduce manual workarounds and improve data quality; partner with engineering and support for maintenance.
