Job summary

Empower seeks a Senior Manager, Product Management for its Advisory Experiences team to shape strategy for financial advisor tools and capabilities. You will own a significant area of internal advisor experience, simplify workflows, and evolve the technology ecosystem to improve productivity.

You will partner with engineering and business leaders to balance near-term results with long-term platform investments, driving impactful changes across product, data, and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 - 5 years of product management or relevant experience.
• Strong product judgment and prioritization skills.
• Technical fluency to reason about system interactions and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a significant area of the financial advisor experience.
• Understand advisor workflows to identify opportunities for simplification and productivity improvements.
• Frame complex opportunities and influence investment decisions based on value and technical considerations.
• Own and evolve a multi-horizon roadmap balancing near-term outcomes with long-term investments.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture leaders to shape strategy and dependencies.
• Lead product discovery in ambiguous spaces using analytics, market research, and technical context.
• Influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners to align priorities.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning product, engineering, operations, risk, compliance, and legal.
• Manage dependencies and tradeoffs that affect product outcomes.
• Establish measures of success and evaluate investments based on advisor outcomes and performance.
