Job summary

ATCC, a global nonprofit providing biological materials, seeks a Senior Manager of Product for Primary & Advanced Models in a hybrid role based in Gaithersburg, MD (or Manassas, VA). You will own product strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle management for organoids, iPSCs, 3D culture systems, hepatocytes, and PBMCs, driving revenue growth and market competitiveness.

Qualifications

• PhD and 5 years of experience, including 2 years supervisory or equivalent.
• Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, portfolio plans, commercialization plans, pricing strategies, and lifecycle plans.
• Knowledge of advanced cellular models and primary cell products, including organoids, induced pluripotent stem cells, 3D culture systems, hepatocytes, and PBMCs.
• Experience supporting biomedical research, drug discovery, disease modeling, toxicology, precision medicine, or cell and gene therapy markets.
• Ability to analyze market trends, competitive activity, customer feedback, financial performance, and portfolio performance to guide decisions.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Scientific, Operations, Quality, Marketing, Sales, Commercial, customers, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
• Experience presenting product strategies, business cases, portfolio performance, investment recommendations, and initiatives to senior leadership.
• Preferred: experience leading teams of professional contributors and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies, multi-year roadmaps, and portfolio plans.
• Lifecycle Management: Lead lifecycle for assigned product lines from concept to retirement.
• Commercial Planning: Translate insights into requirements, launch strategies, pricing, and lifecycle plans.
• Portfolio Performance: Develop business plans, revenue forecasts, pricing strategies, profitability targets, and investments.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with Scientific, Operations, Quality, Marketing, Sales, and Commercial stakeholders.
• Market Insights: Monitor trends, competition, customer feedback, and lifecycle indicators to identify risks and opportunities.
