Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester, MA seeks a Senior Product Filings Analyst to participate in product form and rate development, manage filings, and coordinate regulatory responses. You will collaborate with Business Units, IT, Underwriting, Legal, Claims, Actuarial, and Compliance to ensure timely and compliant filings.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in underwriting or regulatory/compliance, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge of filing processes and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
• CPCU, RPLU, CIC or other insurance industry designations preferred (may be in progress).
• Solid knowledge of MS Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat
• Working knowledge of SharePoint, SERFF and Tracker a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in product form and rate development and maintenance.
• Prepare filing packages and coordinate with vendors and Compliance.
• Manage objections and approvals within required timeframes.
• Coordinate system automation requests for filed products.
• Support filings for projects, maintenance, and compliance activities.
• Maintain database of Regulatory Concerns and Knowledge by Line.
• Coach, mentor and train others on filing processes.
• Assist in product maintenance and regulatory best practices.
