Job summary

APTEAN in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Senior Product Engineer to solve complex customer and product problems for Paragon TMS. You will deliver maintainable software and uphold quality practices from discovery through release and learning.

You will design, build, test, release, and support Paragon TMS, anticipate edge cases, and contribute to tests and validation while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree and several years of experience are preferred, with a focus on SaaS

Qualifications

• Strong QA mindset covering edge cases, regression risk, and solution validation.
• Experience with automated or manual testing, defect prevention, or release validation.
• Production-quality software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer and product problems, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence.
• Design, build, test, release, and support Paragon TMS software.
• Anticipate edge cases, failure modes, and regression risks throughout development.
• Create tests, test data, validation approaches, and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate risks, defects, test results, and progress clearly.
