Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking a senior product manager to lead customer-facing initiatives in semiconductor design and EDA tool development. You will translate customer challenges into market requirements, shape roadmaps, and drive execution with cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, and marketing.

You will prototype new features, define release criteria, and engage with customers at forums and conferences to establish Synopsys as a thought leader in next-generation design solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep technical expertise in EDA tools, especially synthesis, RTL architecture, place and route and ECO methodologies.
• Proven experience in product management, including roadmap prioritization, MRD/PRD development, and release readiness is a nice to have.
• Strong coding skills for prototyping features and creating executable specifications.

Responsibilities

• Engaging directly with customers to identify high-value problems, focusing on PPA optimization and multi-physics closure in design.
• Analyzing market trends to inform the SCA roadmap, with emphasis on advanced nodes and GenAI/Agentic flows.
• Collaborating with DRIs and field partners to identify gaps and opportunities for tool enhancements.
• Defining and prioritizing product roadmaps by crafting MRDs and partnering with engineers to develop PRDs.
• Writing code prototypes for new features and serving as executable specifications for development teams.
• Managing release readiness across Alpha, Beta, LCA, and GA stages.
• Enabling partners with training, campaigns, and benchmarks to ensure value.
• Representing Synopsys at customer forums and industry conferences as a subject matter expert.
