Job summary

Conveo AI in New York is seeking a Senior Product Engineer who can own the full stack from user problem to production. You will shape product direction, build interfaces in React and TypeScript, design APIs, and deploy on AWS, with AI-powered features built on LLMs.

You’ll work directly with a small, fast-moving team, join customer calls to translate feedback into scoped decisions, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building full-stack applications with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong backend experience: designing APIs, working with PostgreSQL, and managing background jobs and async workflows.
• Solid frontend skills with React.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP) — you're comfortable with services like S3, media pipelines, and deployment tooling.
• Experience building AI-driven applications (e.g. prompt engineering, working with LLM APIs, and/or fine-tuning experience are a plus).
• Can independently lead projects from concept to launch.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a keen eye for detail.
• A collaborative mindset, able to work autonomously in a small, fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Own the full stack, from the interface to the infrastructure.
• Build the interface customers open every day and can't imagine working without. Lead frontend architecture in React and TypeScript, set the quality bar for components, state management, and performance.
• Ship complete features end to end, including AI-powered ones built on LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and async pipelines.
• Be the engineering voice in customer conversations, translating feedback into scoped product decisions and following through.
• Use AI throughout to reason, build, review, and test at every stage, keeping documentation lightweight and current.
