Job summary

HyperLight is seeking a Product Engineer, Test & Measurement to lead the development of next-generation TFLN photonics products. You will drive high-speed device testing, optimize measurement strategies, and collaborate with design, fabrication and customers to translate concepts into robust products.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team in a hands-on role focused on performance, reliability, and production-readiness in a US-based facility. In-person collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a photonics-related field is required.
• Experience with integrated photonics design and test.
• Experience with RF design and testing; high-speed EO modulators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D of TFLN photonic devices, including modulators and electro-optic components.
• Develop and optimize test methodologies and characterization setups for high-speed devices.
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate optical, RF, and electro-optic performance.
• Analyze device performance and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with design, fabrication and test teams to iterate concepts and prototypes.
• Analyze measurement and simulation data for performance and robustness.
• Work with vendors and CM to evaluate advanced components and packaging services.
• Lead build, validation, and production test to ensure specs are met.
