Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a Product Engineer 3 in Tualatin, OR to support gas delivery assemblies and OEM components across development, qualification and lifecycle management. You will work closely with Product Engineering, suppliers, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain to drive NPI, ramp, sustaining engineering, and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate has strong project management and problem-solving skills, experience with complex mechanical assemblies, and a track record of supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product, supplier, manufacturing or quality engineering or semiconductor equipment.
• Experience with complex mechanical assemblies and OEM components.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, qualification, and release of gas delivery assemblies and OEM components.
• Partner with Product Engineering teams and suppliers during NPI, ramp, and sustaining activities.
• Provide technical support across product lifecycle including qualification and production support.
• Investigate supplier quality, manufacturing, reliability, and performance issues and drive corrective actions.
• Lead root cause investigations involving supplier, manufacturing, and field issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve processes, controls, quality, cost and delivery.
• Participate in Build Verify, PRRs, and product release processes.
• Conduct supplier audits and manufacturing capability evaluations.
