Job summary

WillScot seeks a Senior Product Engineer to lead design engineering for existing products and future enhancements. The role requires proficiency in force and stress analysis, CAE/FEA, manufacturing processes, and CAD, contributing to the full design and production cycle.

You will collaborate with Product Management, supply partners, and operations to translate requirements into detailed specs, manage prototypes, perform tests, and ensure PLM documentation is complete.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree in Engineering or related discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Product design: drive PDP deliverables across engineering, design, manufacturing and safety.
• Modeling/ drafting: create 3D/2D specs and PLM documentation.
• Product definition: translate customer requirements into measurable specs.
• Prototyping: develop prototypes and deploy on-site with partners.
• Testing: develop test plans to verify prototypes and production designs.
• Program management: coordinate internal/external engineering resources.
• Intellectual property: assist IP work and guidance on claims.
• Budgeting: manage component and product costs and tooling.
