Job summary

You’ll lead features across Ruby on Rails and React Native, own dashboards and data models, and champion AI-assisted development while delivering impactful patient and operational outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep experience with React (or React Native) and Ruby on Rails—required
• Strong command of SQL and relational databases
• Track record of owning features or products end to end
• Comfort operating with incomplete information and scaling systems
• Early adopter of AI coding tools and ability to teach others
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of major features across our Rails web app and React Native mobile app
• Own data and analytics as a core part of the role—build and maintain reporting, dashboards, and data models
• Partner with product and clinical leadership to shape roadmap and translate strategy into technical direction
• Own architecture and technical decisions for your areas; balance speed, scalability, maintainability
• Set the standard for using AI coding tools to ship faster while maintaining quality
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design discussions
• Identify high-leverage opportunities in product, operations, and data
• Help shape engineering practices, standards, and culture as we scale
