Job summary

Actalent, Inc. seeks a Senior Product Engineer to lead design, development and enhancements of custom engineered-to-order products from concept to manufacturing release. The role combines hands-on work on the shop floor with design analysis, cross‑functional collaboration, and responsibility for schedule, cost, and performance targets.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, strong CAD skills, and a proven track record in leading product development across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of experience with engineered-to-order products.
• Experience leading design teams.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams to deliver product enhancements and new developments.
• Own assigned product lines and ensure performance and cost targets.
• Develop specifications, performance requirements, and milestone dates.
• Improve existing products via NPD/ECN processes.
• Review and release engineering drawings, BOMs, and manuals.
• Coordinate with Sales, Manufacturing, and PM to deliver lifecycle support.
