Job summary

Clipster is seeking a Backend‑Heavy Senior Engineer who isn’t afraid to touch the full stack. Your primary domain will be Golang services and distributed systems, but you will also contribute to the React/Next.js frontend when delivering value.

You will own end‑to‑end system design, champion clean code, test coverage, and documentation, and mentor teammates while keeping velocity high in a remote, async environment with core hours 10am–2pm UTC+2.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend experience with at least 3+ years in Golang
• Experience with high-performance distributed systems
• Fullstack capability with React/Next.js frontend
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis; ideally GCP
• Strong system design, testing, and documentation practices
• Ability to own features end-to-end
