Job summary

Best Version Media is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to build customer-facing products and internal tools across 1,300+ communities. You will act as the first engineer embedded in Product, owning features end-to-end and turning prototypes into production code.

You will bridge prototyping and production, collaborating with product managers to turn AI-generated prototypes into scalable, secure systems with strong architecture and code quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in system design and distributed systems.
• Experience with AI coding tools and modern AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software across our core stack: AWS, MongoDB, React, Symfony, and Node.js.
• Own features end-to-end, from design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Establish repeatable governance patterns and engineering handoffs so prototype speed translates directly into launch speed.
• Leverage AI coding assistants and agentic workflows to increase delivery throughput and code quality.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, and central Engineering to set high standards for architecture, testing, and security.
