Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Product Engineer, Accessibility to shape the accessibility strategy for digital healthcare products from a remote location. You will partner with product, engineering, and design teams to embed accessibility into workflows and drive measurable adoption across platforms.

You will define roadmaps for scalable accessibility capabilities, implement automated tests with Playwright, and ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA and relevant laws while delivering inclusive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, HCI, or related field.
• 5+ years in software development with 3+ years in accessibility.
• 2+ years implementing accessibility capabilities adopted by multiple teams.
• 2+ years creating automated accessibility tests with Playwright (JS/TS).
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA, ADA, Section 504 and Section 508.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Product Engineer, Accessibility to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will shape the accessibility strategy for digital products and help define the roadmap for scalable accessibility capabilities across teams. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and design stakeholders to embed accessibility into everyday workflows and improve the usability of web and mobile experiences. The position also calls for driving measurable adoption, supporting compliance efforts, and enabling the organization to deliver more inclusive healthcare experiences.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $106,900 – $147,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Set the direction for accessibility products and define the roadmap
• Build and maintain automated accessibility tests and CI integrations
• Integrate commercial accessibility testing tools for easy adoption by product teams
• Track adoption metrics and outcomes to inform roadmap decisions
• Incorporate accessibility checks into team workflows and provide training
• Test web and mobile experiences using assistive technologies
• Maintain compliance with digital accessibility policies and coordinate audits

Qualifications
