Job summary

Timpte, Inc. in Lincoln, NE is hiring two Senior Product Engineers to join our brand new Manufacturing Center.

This role leads innovative product concepts from idea to validation, production launch and early production support, ensuring robust design and manufacturability. You'll develop new products, challenge existing approaches, and own detailed 3D CAD designs (SolidWorks preferred) with collaboration across design, analysis, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in a product design role or closely related field.
• College level education in Engineering or closely related technical field required.
• Proven ability to develop original solutions, challenge conventional design approaches, and rethink products or systems that have remained largely unchanged for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative new product concepts and lead those concepts from initial idea through detailed design, validation, production launch, and early production support.
• Challenge existing products and manufacturing approaches to identify opportunities for significant product advancement.
• Take ownership of detailed 3D CAD product design while working with designers and other team members to complete production drawings and release documentation.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position.
