Job summary

Revieve Oy is seeking a Senior Product Engineer for a remote Europe role. You will tackle real customer problems across AI, AR and computer-vision features for beauty brands, shipping from ideation to production with asynchronous collaboration across time zones.

You should demonstrate strong TS/React skills, a portfolio of builds, and a mindset for design-driven solutions, latency-aware deployments, and clear written communication.

Revieve Oy | Senior Product Engineer | REMOTE [Europe / (GMT+2)] | Contract, full-time | Revieve (Helsinki, with a US office and a team in Asia) builds AI, AR and computer-vision personalization for beauty brands and retailers: skin analysis, virtual try-on and product recommendations. We work with 120+ brands and retailers in 40+ countries, and our product reaches millions of end users. We're a small team (30+ people, about a dozen engineers) spread across eight time zones, and we've reorganized around the idea that one builder with the right tools can do what a team used to. This role exists because we believe that. A typical week: a real customer problem lands in front of you with full context, and you decide what to build. Tuesday you sketch it in an AI design tool and prototype in Claude Code. Wednesday it's on staging and you send the founders a Loom. Thursday it's in production. About 1-2 hours of meetings a week, mostly async. No standups, no sprints, no PM or designer in the loop.

What we're looking for:

• Public proof of building: repos, products or side projects we can click around
• AI in production, with an opinion about agents, evals, latency and what fails
• Fluency with agentic coding (Claude Code, Codex, MCP, custom harnesses)
• Design taste: you can take an idea to a working interface without a designer
• Generalist instincts: TypeScript/React up front, comfortable with backend integrations and infra
• Clear written thinking: READMEs, PRs, post-mortems

Process: intro call, then a paid build session where we work on a real problem together (that's where the hire decision happens, for both sides), a short presentation to the team, then an offer.
