Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Engineer for a 6+ month contract onsite in Northridge, CA. The role focuses on leading engineering projects, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliance with medical device regulations.

Requirements include 5–8 years in product engineering, a related engineering degree, and substantial PLM, V&V, and design controls experience. Strong communication and regulatory knowledge are essential.

• 5–8 years of product engineering experience.
• B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or related Engineering field.
• Validation experience, design analysis, and V&V testing expertise.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in medical device or regulated industry environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, or similar regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with Design Controls.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and contribute to multiple concurrent engineering projects, defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Regulatory teams to ensure alignment and success.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor for junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Ensure products comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA, MDR) and internal quality standards.
• Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, risk assessments, and change control processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in products, processes, and engineering practices.

Immediate need for a talented Senior Product Engineer. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Northridge, CA(Onsite).

Pay Range: $50/hr - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
