Job summary

Liquid I.V. is seeking a Product Development, Associate Principal Scientist to lead innovative beverage formulations within the R&D Product Development team.

The role reports to the R&D Director and focuses on core portfolio expansion, stability, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate combines hands-on formulation expertise with strong leadership, capable of driving experiments independently and communicating results to technical and non-technical partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or highly desirable.
• 6+ years progressive growth in food, beverage or supplement CPG.
• Experience creating innovative products for leading brands.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of flavors and formulations for core portfolio.
• Plan and run stability studies; analyze data; recommend updates.
• Develop raw/material specs with QA collaboration.
• Design experiments to evaluate formulation variables and performance.
• Own tech transfer, plant trials, and post-trial reviews.
• Collaborate across marketing, sales, supply chain and external partners on IP, costs and SOW.
