Job summary
Liquid I.V. is seeking an Associate Principal Scientist, Innovation - Scientific Affairs to lead and execute our exciting new product innovation pipeline.
Reporting to the Manager of Innovation and Claims, this role is highly cross functional and will engage with all levels of the organization cross-functionally along with Unilever counterparts. The ideal candidate will deliver innovative concepts, ingredients and technologies, stay informed on industry trends, and communicate findings to
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nutrition, exercise physiology, or related field.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in scientific affairs, R&D, or innovation with launches.
- Deep expertise in dietary supplement ingredients and formats.
- Experience supporting innovation engines from concept to commercialization.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead Scientific Affairs in shaping early-stage concepts and sprint work with cross-functional teams.
- Scout globally for emerging science and technologies to inform the pipeline.
- Design substantiation strategies aligned with regulatory and commercialization needs.
- Influence formulation development for scientifically sound concepts.
- Maintain internal scientific databases and knowledge-sharing resources.
- Collaborate with Product Development on bench formulations and tastings.
- Participate in live cross-functional innovation sprints.
