Overview

Senior Product Development Engineer/Scientist (Malden, MA). Actnano develops and manufactures coatings that protect printed circuit boards in electronics, enabling operation in water-laden environments. The role focuses on developing new platform technologies for environmental protection and implementing them at customers worldwide.

Required education and language preferences are specified below. Applicants must be legally allowed to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional materials, test methods, and implementation solutions for environmental protection of automotive and consumer electronics
• Maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables related to product launch strategy
• Communicate technical advances and project strategy to a global team of technical and sales personnel
• Work autonomously on open-ended projects, from new coating development to novel application techniques
• Expand Actnano’s IP portfolio by innovating on coatings and application technology
• Serve as the subject matter expert on coatings and participate in developing customer implementation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables for product launches
• Mentor technicians and co-ops on conducting experiments for coating development
• International and domestic travel may be required
