You will direct design efforts, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery while meeting customer requirements. The role requires strong proficiency in 3D CAD, design controls, and DFMEA/PFMEA, with experience in biopharmaceutical or related regulated environments.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or technical discipline (required)
• 8+ years in product development, preferably single-use systems for regulated industries
• Experience leading complex design projects from concept to production
• Strong knowledge of 3D solid modeling, QA standards, and interpreting mechanical drawings
• Proficiency in tolerance analysis, GD&T, and DF/MF principles

Responsibilities

• Lead design initiatives for new products from concept to commercialization.
• Translate market and customer requirements into robust, manufacturable designs.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, validation, and support regulatory compliance activities.
• Develop design documentation, DFMEA/PFMEA, and verification/validation plans.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and QA to optimize materials and processes.
• Mentor Level I/II engineers and drive continuous improvement in design standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, IEC and design control requirements.
