Job summary

HellermannTyton North America seeks a Product Development Engineer III to design, engineer, and develop innovative plastic routing and clipping solutions. You will work with Sales, Marketing, and customers to ensure timely, robust product launches and maintain design for manufacturability throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires CAD expertise, strong documentation skills, and the ability to lead design reviews.

Qualifications

• BSME or MSME with professional experience in product design and development.
• Strong CAD skills and mechanical design knowledge for plastics.
• Experience with DFMEA, DFM and design reviews is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs for plastic routing and clipping solutions.
• Create CAD models, drawings, and BOMs for production.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate with Sales/Marketing and customers.
• Perform tolerance analyses and basic FEA studies as needed.
• Ensure manufacturability and participate in product verification activities.
• Mentor junior designers and support documentation such as ECNs.
