NVIDIA seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer for their Board Product Development Engineering team. This role involves bringing complex GPU board products to mass production, requiring strong engineering skills, collaboration across teams, and extensive experience in product validation. NVIDIA is an industry leader in high performance computing, gaming and AI. We are the Board Product Development Engineering team within NVIDIA’s operations group. Our work lies at the intersection of multi-disciplinary engineering fields – including but not limited to electrical, electronics, mechanical, thermal and software engineering. We are looking for a Senior Product Development Engineer - Boards, to help bring highly complex GPU board products from its design phase into mass production.
What you’ll be doing:
Work on NVIDIA Datacenter / Professional Visualization / Gaming GPU cards during NPI and in production
Work with cross-functional teams (including Hardware Design, Software, Manufacturing, Quality / Reliability, Application Engineering and Marketing) to achieve fast-paced delivery schedules on groundbreaking products
Root Cause failing boards using lab equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes etc…) as well as SW tools. Make DFX recommendations to design teams.
Perform product design and validation to support design engineering sustaining work.
Define and improve board manufacturing processes
Analyze yield and parametric data using available tools and programming / scripting
Direct local and overseas contract manufacturing factories to transition new products to mass-production.
Regularly report product status and recommend improvements to management
Experience in two or more of the following areas – Board or post-Si validation, high volume yield and parametric data analyses, product engineering, design or validation of DRAM's, creating and using complex test setups, board/PCB-design, SMT, assembly
Ability to debug complicated multi-disciplinary problems
Good team spirit and strong communication
Good grasp of testing strategies and their relation to yields and test-time
5+ years of experience in design / manufacturing / validation / product development / testing / data-analysis of PCB’s, Silicon or some other systems
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science (or equivalent experience)
Background in data analysis, software tools and scripting
Experience enabling / driving cross functional debug
Knowledge of PCB manufacturing process, Silicon or PCB debug, system assembly / testing and mechanical tolerances
Knowledge of how to build computers and tweak BIOS settings

The base salary range is 132,000 USD - 253,000 USD.
