Responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing new products or redesigning existing ones in accordance with industry regulations, cost, and quality guidelines.
• Participating in all stages of product development, from ideation to launch.
• Redesigning and improving existing products.
• Testing design concepts and prototypes.
• Searching for new materials, processes, and procedures to enhance capabilities and efficiencies.
• Establishing budgets and schedules for product development.
• Ensuring development progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborating across departments for seamless product development stages.
• Working with management to set improvement targets.
• Conducting failure analysis and other studies.
• Interfacing with sales and customers to meet needs and resolve issues.

Scope and Work Environment:

• Identifying core problems and applying creative problem-solving skills.
• Performing assignments independently with limited instruction.
• Overseeing project completion and contributing to team development.

Work is primarily indoors, with some lifting and travel (20-50%).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 5-8 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3-5 years of experience. Certification may be required.

Preferred: Experience in team or group development projects.
