Job summary

Western National Insurance Group is seeking a Product Development & Compliance Specialist III to ensure regulatory filing and approval of insurance products. The role collaborates with actuarial, underwriting, and product teams to maintain compliant forms and rates.

The candidate will monitor regulatory changes, update policy forms, and guide internal stakeholders through test and audit processes, while supporting training of Product Development Analysts.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Property and Casualty insurance required.
• Ability to interpret and translate legal and regulatory language into clear, compliant policy language.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing, filing, and maintaining personal and commercial lines product forms at the state level.

Responsibilities

• Monitor legislative and regulatory resources and analyze the impact on Western National insurance products.
• Identify new regulatory requirements and implement updates to ensure statutory compliance.
• Develop and maintain policy forms and rules to support new or revised coverage requirements.
• Partner with actuarial teams to support rate changes and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on systems usage, billing processes, and contract renewals.
• Train and coach Product Development Analysts and participate in testing and auditing activities.
