Job summary

Fidelity Information Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Product Designer in Jacksonville, FL to lead user-centered design initiatives and translate product vision into intuitive strategies for web and mobile experiences.

You will conduct user research, develop personas, build prototypes, and collaborate with product teams to scale design systems and deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Computer Science, Information Science, or related field and three (3) years of experience using Figma to produce designs and manage design systems.
• Experience with online whiteboarding and collaboration tools including FigJam and Miro for collaborative design workshops.
• Utilizing Jira as part of workflow tracking in software development lifecycle.
• Creating, planning and executing moderated and unmoderated user research studies with online tools including UserTesting.com and User Interviews.
• Performing product design showcasing design process, problem solving skills, and impact on end-users or with an advanced degree in design.
• Designing software applications within a financial industry context.
• Working with industry-standard design tools and UX/UI principles.
• Designing web and mobile-native apps with the ability to create designs using a design system.

Effectively communicate design decisions and rationale to both internal stakeholders and development teams, fostering a shared understanding of design objectives. Adapt and iterate designs based on feedback, usability testing, and evolving project needs. Proactively seek opportunities to improve workflows and processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Computer Science, Information Science, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: utilizing Figma to produce designs and manage design systems
• working with online whiteboarding and collaboration tools including FigJam and Miro to facilitate collaborative design workshops
• utilizing Jira as part of workflow tracking in software development lifecycle
• creating, planning and executing moderated and unmoderated user research studies with online tools including UserTesting.com and User Interviews
• performing product design showcasing design process, problem solving skills, and the impact on end-users or advanced degree design
• designing software applications within a financial industry context
• working with industry-standard design tools and UX/UI principles
• and designing devices including web and mobile-native apps with the ability to create designs using a design system
• In the alternative, FIS will accept a Master's degree in the above-listed fields, and one (1) year of experience with the above-listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
