We are looking for an ownership-minded Senior Product Designer to drive our user-facing design. As we add new products/features, we will need to craft experiences that are loved by our users. You will shape the future of our product through design and enable our customers to use our product, flawlessly. A successful candidate will possess a strong background in UI/UX design and a passion for creating intuitive and visually accessible interfaces for complex data-driven applications. This role offers the opportunity for rapid growth and increased responsibility.

You will...

1. serve as a bridge connecting design, product, engineering, and marketing teams, collaborating closely to create a shared vision for our product
2. collect and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and end-users to enhance product design
3. own and drive Prismatic’s entire product design lifecycle and major features
4. manage our design system and promote consistency across the product
5. design features and flows that are clean and simple for our audience: developers and technical non-developers
6. produce specs, sketches, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, or code to take UI ideas from conception to production
7. generate detailed final design specifications that guide accurate developer implementation
8. collaborate with developers and quality assurance to deliver polished final products
9. help establish and uphold high standards for design and product quality within the team

You might be a good fit if you...

1. have 3+ years of UI/UX and product design experience
2. possess a strong portfolio showcasing successful UX solutions and designs
3. are a self-starter, able to proactively identify impact opportunities
4. can create quick, low-fidelity mockups to visually communicate ideas
5. have strong presentation and communication skills to align the team with your vision
6. are comfortable with basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
7. have experience designing developer-centric products, creative software, or enterprise internal tools
8. enjoy breaking down complex technical problems into abstractions, balancing ease of use, learnability, and power
9. are inspired to rethink how software is built

Bonus points for...

• working knowledge of SQL, databases, or APIs
• experience working with low-code design tools
• experience designing products primarily for developers

The pay range for this role is...

• $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 base salary
