Job summary

Everyday Health Group is seeking a Senior Product Designer who thinks in systems rather than screens, shaping design across our portfolio of consumer brands from health content to lifestyle and subscription products. You will leverage AI to prototype quickly while focusing on framing the right problems and choosing between defensible options.

You will help evolve our design systems, collaborate with Product, Engineering, Editorial, Analytics, and Sales/Ad Ops, and ensure designs work across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a product designer on digital consumer platforms (web, app, newsletters).
• Portfolio showing thinking and reasoning, not just polished mocks.
• Fluency with AI design and research tools as part of daily workflow, not a novelty.
• Strong instincts for when to trust or override AI-generated options.
• Experience running user research and turning it into product decisions under real-time pressure.
• Comfort with ambiguity and asking the right questions before scoping.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders who may not share vocabulary.
• Experience in an agile environment (Scrum or Kanban).
• Strong proficiency in Figma with variables and tokens; maintaining and extending design systems.

Responsibilities

• Own design across Everyday Health Group's portfolio of consumer brands, with varying depth from problem framing through shipped experience.
• Explore multiple directions for a problem and bring a point of view on future brand/product direction.
• Use AI tools to generate options and prototype fast, then apply editorial judgment to decide what ships.
• Analyze user testing sessions with AI tools and surface patterns to inform design decisions.
• Accelerate early-stage research with AI (requirements gathering, competitive analysis, stakeholder feedback synthesis).
• Design solutions that work across devices and breakpoints with a mobile-first mindset.
• Translate business goals into testable design questions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Editorial, Analytics, and Sales/Ad Ops to frame problems before solutions.
• Think in systems and understand ripple effects across flows and platforms.
• Present design rationale to diverse stakeholders in accessible language.
• Advocate for users when promises don’t align with impact; contribute to evolving design systems.
