Job summary

Fora in New York City seeks a Senior Product Designer to join a growing design team. You will report to the Director of Product Design and help shape design processes during rapid growth, collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver cohesive experiences.

Strong emphasis on building for travel entrepreneurs via Fora Portal, with ownership of research, system design, and end-to-end feature development. This role is based in our NYC office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in a startup or embedded environment.
• Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, CS, or related field.
• Experience designing for SaaS and consumer products.
• Can design quickly from 0-1 and iterate on existing products.
• Approach design with practicality and business impact in mind.

Responsibilities

• Lead with insights, designs, flows, prototypes across the product design process.
• Contribute to the Design System to ensure consistent, high-quality experiences.
• Develop product designs balancing creativity, quality, speed, and business value.
• Design new features from concept through pixel-perfect implementation.
• Understand customer problems deeply to craft innovative solutions.
• Plan and run mixed-method UX research to inform strategy.
• Tell compelling stories to align stakeholders on solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Ops, Engineering and Fora teams.
