Job summary

Fearless is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the digital design practice within our Experience & Design career path. You will advocate for user-centered design, translate policy and program needs into intuitive interfaces, and mentor cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Remote position with occasional travel to New Jersey for onsite client meetings and collaborative working sessions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience designing digital products or services, with ownership of UX/UI from discovery through implementation.
• Experience planning and conducting user research, including qualitative methods, usability testing, and synthesis of findings.
• Proficiency with Figma or comparable design and prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, interaction design, information architecture, and responsive web design.
• Portfolio demonstrating thoughtful design decisions and completed digital product work.

Responsibilities

• Lead human-centered design across digital products ensuring intuitive, accessible experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate program requirements, policy considerations, and user needs into practical design solutions.
• Own the design process from discovery through implementation, including user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Develop and help execute a user research strategy, working with stakeholders to identify research priorities and translate findings into recommendations.
• Plan and conduct user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, and other methods appropriate to research goals.
