ShopMy in New York City area seeks a Senior or Lead Product Designer to drive end-to-end product design, partnering with Product and Engineering to shape problems, define strategy, and influence what gets built. You’ll prototype, iterate, and elevate design quality across web and mobile experiences for creators, brands, and shoppers.

You’ll explore AI-powered design workflows, contribute to a scalable design system, and maintain craft and accessibility while collaborating across teams.

Competenze

• 7+ years of product design experience, ideally in a startup or fast-moving product environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional design, visual craft, and product thinking.
• Experience designing across web, mobile, and responsive platforms.
• A builder mindset—you enjoy solving problems beyond the interface and aren’t afraid to jump into unfamiliar territory.
• Strong product intuition with the ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
• Comfort with rapid iteration and ambiguity, knowing when to explore versus when to ship.
• Experience creating prototypes to communicate ideas and validate solutions.
• Curiosity about AI-powered design and development workflows; experience with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with Product, Engineering, and Design.
• A systems thinker who cares deeply about scalability, quality, and craft.

• Own the end-to-end design process—from discovery, research, concept exploration through polished implementation, QA and launch.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define problems, shape product strategy, and influence what gets built.
• Think beyond design deliverables to identify opportunities to improve workflows, product quality, and customer experience across creators, brands, and shoppers.
• Prototype and experiment to validate ideas quickly and communicate concepts clearly.
• Leverage AI tools and emerging workflows to accelerate design, QA, prototyping, and execution while maintaining high quality.
• Collaborate in critiques and product discussions, providing thoughtful feedback.
• Contribute to and evolve our design system for consistency, scalability, and accessibility.
• Maintain exceptional craft and attention to detail from concept to launch.
