Job summary

Xplor is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join Mariana Tek, a boutique fitness platform, to craft end-to-end design solutions for class scheduling, booking, inventory, and POS. You will drive user-centered design across web and mobile, collaborating with product, eng, and analytics to align with user needs and business goals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in UX design, strong Figma skills, and a track record of leading design initiatives, mentoring teammates, and communicating design

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing solutions for complex web and mobile apps.
• Lead or Senior experience is highly preferred.
• Mastery of Figma and Design Thinking.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design, usability heuristics, IA and design systems.
• Experience conducting user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys).
• Solid understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication with diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to lead design initiatives and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Create intuitive design solutions for Mariana Tek covering class scheduling, booking, inventory and POS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute product strategies that align with user needs and business goals.
• Lead complex design initiatives and drive visual craft and product strategy forward.
• Communicate design decisions clearly to engineers and stakeholders and iterate based on feedback.

Job Description

Mariana Tek is a leading vertical SaaS platform that enables boutique fitness studios to run their businesses with ease, save time and increase revenue. Mariana Tek empowers class-based boutique fitness studios to increase sales performance and overall productivity by managing all aspects of their daily operations. We are looking for aSenior Product Designerto join our team focused on Mariana Tek, our platform designed for boutique fitness businesses. You'll create intuitive design solutions that support studios with end-to-end business management capabilities (spanning class scheduling, booking, inventory management, point-of-sale, etc.) as well as deliver world class consumer experiences. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute product strategies that align with user needs and business goals. This position offers opportunities for growth, allowing you to lead complex design initiatives while pushing the boundaries of product strategy and visual craft.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in UX Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful UX/UI solutions for complex web and mobile applications. Experience in a Lead or Senior role is highly preferred.
• Design Expertise: Mastery of design tools such as Figma (our primary tool) and Design Thinking. Proficient in creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, research questions, and user surveys.
• UX Principles: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, information architecture, design systems, and interaction design patterns.
• Research Acumen: Experience conducting and synthesizing user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) to inform design decisions.
• Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers about technical constraints and opportunities.
• Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to diverse audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to break down complex problems into manageable, actionable design solutions.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to autonomously lead design initiatives, influence stakeholders, and mentor team members.

Bonus Skillsets

• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with the use of AI in design, research, and copy (e.g., Co-pilot, Figma Make, Miro AI).
• Proficiency in front-end coding (e.g., HTML, CSS) for prototyping or component development.
