Job summary

Cosm’s Product Design team is seeking a Sr. Product Designer to own internal tools and B2B applications, bringing craft and strategic thinking to complex workflows.

You’ll shape information architecture, system design, and production-ready interfaces, while advocating for clarity and usability in high-density product spaces. In this role you’ll partner with product managers and engineers to define requirements, iterate solutions, and ship features end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience in software or related fields.
• UX and IA chops: untangle messy workflows and design scalable systems.
• Strong product thinking with ability to discuss strategy and tradeoffs.
• Experience shipping work with AI tools as accelerators.
• Experience maintaining a design system used across products.
• A portfolio showing systems thinking and end-to-end ownership.
• High proficiency in Figma and openness to new tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for complex systems.
• Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the design direction for internal and B2B backend tools, from IA to polished interfaces.
• Audit and organize the backend toolset, mapping features and workflows for consolidation.
• Leverage AI tools and prototyping to build and validate ideas directly.
• Lead features end-to-end: collaborate with PMs and engineers to gather requirements and iterate.
• Maintain a high UX bar for every tool; ensure clarity and usefulness.
• Own the full arc from strategy to pixels and implement solutions.
• Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders with user-centered rationale.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to design legible, actionable interfaces.
• Mentor other designers and raise the team’s craft.
• Foster a culture of honest, empathetic communication.
