Job summary

C1.ai is building a horizontal identity platform that helps organizations manage access across SaaS, infrastructure, and internal tools. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll work upstream with customers to untangle identity workflows, define problems, and shape solutions before code is written.

You’ll prototype across sketches, Paper/Pen.dev, Claude Design prototypes, or agentic coding harnesses, with ownership of end-to-end design from problem to polish.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience in complex B2B or enterprise software.
• Strong fundamentals: research, problem framing, interaction design, information architecture, visual craft.
• Attention to detail in typography, spacing, motion, copy, edge cases.
• Experience shipping with AI assistance and keeping designs polished for enterprises.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own product areas from problem definition through launch and iteration.
• Talk to customers regularly; join sales/support calls and translate feedback into product direction.
• Explore broadly; map flows, sketch alternatives, pressure-test ideas and justify the right solution.
• Prototype at the fastest speed needed—sketches, Paper/Pen.dev, Claude Design, or agentic builds.
• Write context that enables building: specs, decision records, and design rationale.
