Job summary

Technosylva is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape UI for geospatial wildfire and weather risk analytics. You will lead end-to-end design for high-impact features, turning massive datasets into clear, actionable insights for utility operators and first responders.

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and scientists to make wildfire science accessible to diverse users, while advancing design systems and measuring UX impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Product Design or UX Design with senior/lead experience.
• Experience designing geospatial interfaces, mapping apps, or GIS systems.
• Proficiency in Figma; comfortable with Jira and AI-powered design tools (Lovable, Claude Design).
• Ability to simplify complex data and workflows into intuitive UX.
• Strong portfolio showing data visualization and complex information architecture.
• Experience in enterprise or utility/GIS environments.
• Excellent communication to present decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing roadmaps.
