Job summary

Ondo Finance is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own and evolve two design systems for institutional and consumer use, across web and mobile. You will work closely with engineers to ship tokens, components, and a polished visual language, ensuring WCAG AA compliance and accessible interactions in a fast-moving fintech environment.

You’ll define motion, typography, and theming, build scalable documentation, and guide governance across teams, blending product sense with implementation

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product design, including 3+ years focused on design systems.
• Experience building and scaling a shared design system across web and mobile.
• Strong UI craft: visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and motion.
• Builds scalable components and design tokens, including theming.

Responsibilities

• Own two design systems end to end (institutional and consumer) across web and mobile.
• Define visual language, motion principles, and interaction details for both systems.
• Design and ship the full stack of the system from primitives to templates with polished interactions.
• Partner with UI engineers to map tokens and components to production libraries, keeping Figma and code in sync.
• Define mobile parity and responsive behavior between web and native surfaces.
• Ensure WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility baked into components and systems.
• Write clear usage guidelines and contribution guides for designers, engineers, and AI agents.
• Run governance across teams: contribution models, reviews, and adoption tracking.
• Audit systems for gaps and drift, driving proactive fixes without being asked.
• Leverage AI tooling to connect design systems with design and engineering workflows.
