PermitFlow is seeking a senior designer to own end-to-end product design for a complex B2B permitting platform. You will lead design projects, work closely with customers and engineering, and drive UX improvements across the application.

HQ in NYC with a hybrid schedule (3 in-office days per week). Strong portfolio required; 10+ years in dense B2B software preferred. Competitive salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• All applications must link to or include a portfolio and demonstrate design solutions in relevant or related product areas for a fast-paced environment.
• 10+ years of experience designing dense B2B software, especially with workflow-heavy products and complexity.
• Team comfortable with Figma, Notion, Linear or similar tooling.
• High tolerance for ambiguity; we move fast and continuously improve design, product, and engineering processes.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical competence; able to communicate designs and decisions effectively with engineers.

Responsabilités

• Dive into construction permitting, licensing, and inspections and become an expert in the pre-construction domain.
• Identify and assess opportunities for UX and visual improvements in the PermitFlow application.
• Own strategy and decision-making for key product surfaces.
• Lead end-to-end design projects and collaborate with customers, engineering, and other teams.
• Set the bar for craft and critique culture and design-centric approaches.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to produce collateral and branding material.
• Design a permitting product that is beautiful, functional, and scalable.
