Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own end‑to‑end product design for the Communications Tech team. You will work with multiple engineering squads, drive AI‑assisted design approaches, and translate complex, data‑heavy workflows into simple user experiences.
You will embed with engineering, conduct research, define interaction models, produce designs, and iterate based on user feedback, balancing fast delivery with customer focus.
We're looking for an ambitious Senior Product Designer to join the Communications Tech team that builds products to boost the productivity and efficiency of Amazon's global Communications organization. This role will have high impact, senior leadership visibility, several engineering teams to influence, and ownership over the end-to-end product design of tools communications professionals need to do their jobs.
A Designer with previous experience and interest in the media (social and traditional), communications, and public relations fields is a significant positive.
The Senior Product Designer role needs to be both capable and interested in being deeply in the weeds on product design, while also force-multiplying across dozens of colleagues. Amazon's Communications organization is primarily non-technical— the Designer needs to be comfortable with non-technical stakeholders, and obsessed with making complex, data-heavy products as simple as possible to use.
The ideal candidate can juggle competing priorities across projects and stakeholders without losing the thread of what’s best for the customer. They know how to present ideas professionally through a strategic and creative lens. They approach design through an AI-native mindset, actively integrating AI tools and capabilities into their research and delivery to move faster and raise the quality of their output.
This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role. The Senior Product Designer will embed alongside engineering teams, conduct research, define interaction models, produce designs, and iterate based on how real users actually work.
