Job summary

SprintRay in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Contract Product Designer for its Cloud Platforms team. You will own end-to-end design across the Cloud product suite, shaping workflows from loosely defined inputs into clear, high-craft interfaces.

Lead design from discovery to high-fidelity UI, collaborate with PMs and engineers, contribute to the design system, and conduct lightweight user research with staff and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing shipped software, including SaaS, enterprise, and/or medical products.
• Portfolio demonstrating how you reason through complex systems, not only surface-level visuals.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills with Figma and the ability to map workflows.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and thin briefs, asking strong questions, documenting key decisions, and moving forward without fully formed specs.
• Clear written and verbal communication with PMs and engineers.
• Ability to work from the HQ near Atwater Village 3–4 days per week (90065).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for the Cloud product suite, including discovery, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and specifications to engineering builds.
• Translate loose requirements from conversations, messages, emails, and feedback into a design brief and executable designs.
• Design simple, polished experiences for data-dense systems across patient management, CAM, treatment ordering, work tracking, and related workflows.
• Collaborate closely with product management and engineering throughout the build, handling edge cases and tech debt tradeoffs while preserving design quality.
• Contribute to and advance the design system, balancing high-craft UI with practical UX needs.
• Lead lightweight research with real customers, including practice staff, lab managers, and internal teams.
