Job summary

Tabby is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the BNPL Consumer Experience from checkout to post-purchase. You will shape flows for native apps, mobile web, desktop, and in-store while handling billing logic and market-specific rules.

The role reports to Ahmad Abdul Rauf and is fully remote, with collaboration across PMs, engineers, and UX researchers. Ideal candidates ship end-to-end B2C products, think in terms of business metrics and conversion, and bring strong visual and interaction

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to own the Consumer Experience in our BNPL stream, from checkout to post purchase. This is Tabby's core product, used by every customer in every market we operate in.

At checkout, you'll design the flows that turn intent into a purchase, online, in-app and in-store, where every change is measured in conversion. After checkout, you'll design how customers repay, manage their purchases and stay in control of their money. On the surface these look like simple flows. Underneath sit billing logic, market-specific rules and edge cases most people never see. Your job is to make that complexity feel simple.

What you will be doing

• Own the BNPL Consumer Experience end to end, from checkout to post purchase, and keep the two sides consistent
• Understand the product logic behind every flow before you design it, including its edge cases
• Work with your PMs to reframe problems and turn them into designs that move business metrics and reduce drop-offs and support tickets
• Run experiments on high-traffic checkout flows, read the results and iterate on what moves conversion
• Validate ideas with quick research, on your own or with our UX researcher, alongside data and customer feedback
• Design for native app, mobile web, desktop web and in-store, handling country-specific rules without forking the experience
• Use AI tools every day for prototypes, ideation, edge-case mapping and research synthesis
• Work hand in hand with engineering through delivery, run design reviews with QA, and own the quality of what ships

What we are looking for

• Proven experience shipping B2C products across native mobile and web, with a portfolio that shows end-to-end ownership, from problem framing and reasoning to polished, production-ready UI
• Strong product and systems thinking. You understand business goals, conversion and product logic, and can explain the reasoning behind every decision, not only the UI
• High craft standards in visual and interaction design, with care for what reaches users
• AI is part of how you work, and you can show real projects where it sped up your prototyping, exploration or delivery
• A good storyteller who simplifies complex problems, whether you're talking to another designer or a C-level executive
• Independent and proactive. You move without waiting for a brief, manage your own priorities and set timelines you can hold
• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, lending or checkout products, including A/B testing in high-traffic funnels
• Experience designing for GCC markets or Arabic/RTL interfaces
• Comfort working close to code, or experience building a design system
• Experience in a hyper-growth startup or scale-up
