Job summary

Tabby invites a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Platform & ML team in a fully remote capacity. You will help build internal data services, including a Feature Store, and own scalable data pipelines.

You will work with Python, SQL, and modern data tools on Google Cloud Platform, contributing to high-load systems and data storage architectures while collaborating with an international engineering team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or Backend Engineer.
• Experience in developing high-load and scalable data processing and storage systems.
• Good knowledge and background in event-driven systems and streaming pipelines.
• Python + best practices for Python.
• SQL + best practices for SQL.
• System design best practices.
• Familiar with tech stack as Airflow, Debezium, BigQuery / ClickHouse, PostgreSQL / CockroachDB, Docker, GitLab(CI/CD), GCP.
• REST API / GRPC API / Message brokers & Queues.

Responsibilities

We are hiring a Data Engineer for the Data Services Team who will help us create our internal solutions such as a Feature Store and will be ready to perform operational tasks.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• 3-5 years of experience as Data Engineer, ML Engineer, Backend Engineer;

• GO development experience;
• Experience on modern systems of data storing: Relational, MPP, NoSQL;
• Experience on Google Cloud Platform.
