Job summary

LiveKit is seeking a Senior Product Designer to craft tools for developers testing, evaluating, and debugging AI agents. You’ll turn dense, real-time data into clean interfaces and design intuitive patterns for AI-native workflows where agents draft and humans refine.

Work closely with engineers to prototype in code, contribute to the design system, and ship polished, data-heavy experiences. If you love polishing details and solving tough technical challenges for developers, this role is for you.

Qualifications

• You've shipped design work for developer tools, observability or data-heavy products.
• You have strong data-visualization instincts and know when a chart beats a table (and when it doesn't).
• You're comfortable in code — reading PRs, tweaking Tailwind, building prototypes.
• You earn the trust of deeply technical users and engineers.
• Experience designing for AI or agent tooling.
• AI tools are already a core part of how you design.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of how developers test, evaluate and observe their agents — simulations, evals, logs and agent insights.
• Turn complex, real-time data into interfaces that are easy to scan, understand and act on.
• Design new interaction patterns for AI-native workflows, where agents generate the first draft and humans adjust it.
• Prototype in code and work hand-in-hand with engineers to ship polished work.
• Contribute patterns to our design system for dense, debugging-oriented surfaces
