Job summary

Mercor is hiring a Product Designer to own end-to-end user journeys and shape a polished UI across fast-moving product teams. You will collaborate with engineers and product managers to implement features and refine the experience as the product scales.

You’ll contribute to a modern visual language inspired by Notion and Tailwind, partnering with the Head of Design to evolve Mercor’s design philosophy and culture.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio that demonstrates both visual polish and UX depth.
• Passion for building intuitive, beautiful products.
• 4–8 years in product design, ideally at startups or high-bar teams.
• Experience working closely with engineers and understanding constraints.
• Proven ability to operate autonomously.
• Bonus: Experience building AI-driven products or marketplaces.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of core user journeys across the product, from initial flows to polished UI.
• Collaborate with engineering and product to implement new features and refine existing ones.
• Bring clarity to complex user experiences as our product evolves and scales.
• Create and maintain a clean, modern visual language inspired by tools like Notion and Tailwind.
• Work with Head of Design to articulate Mercor’s design philosophy & culture.
• Help tutorialize the product experience so users know what to do without being told.
