Job summary

Fieldguide is hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our Audit product team. You’ll own complex, ambiguous problem spaces end-to-end, partner closely with Product and Engineering, and help shape the design direction of a core Fieldguide product.

This team ships frequently, iterates in tight loops, and makes progress amid ambiguity. You should be comfortable balancing speed with craft, incorporating AI into your daily design practice, and designing AI-assisted workflows directly into the

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end product design for complex workflows.
• Ability to translate user needs into clear journeys and UI.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and fast iteration.
• Proven ability to mentor peers and contribute to design direction.
• Strong collaboration with product and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for complex, ambiguous audit workflows, from problem definition through shipped solutions
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape strategy, roadmaps, and scalable implementations
• Drive design execution with minimal direction in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment
• Translate customer needs, research insights, and business goals into clear user journeys, interaction models, and polished UI
• Balance speed and iteration with usability, consistency, and long‑term product quality
• Advocate for users while accounting for technical, regulatory, and business constraints
• Own a significant product area or customer journey, anticipating downstream impacts across workflows and personas
• Set a high bar for craft and influence by contributing to the design system, mentoring peers, and serving as a trusted design voice
