Job summary

sandboxaq is seeking a Senior Product Designer embedded in a central design organization to shape how technical users build, evaluate, and trust AI agents across command-line, web, console, onboarding, and docs surfaces. You will own visual and interaction design across surfaces, evolve a design system, and prototype with engineers to validate decisions.

Qualifications

• Around six or more years designing interfaces for complex technical domains such as developer tools, enterprise software, security, infrastructure, or AI, with strong visual and interaction craft.
• Working knowledge of AI and agentic products and the ability to make intricate technical workflows understandable without oversimplifying.
• Fluency with Figma and modern AI design tools, plus comfort prototyping in code and reasoning with engineers about technical constraints.
• Hands-on user research experience, including usability studies, contextual inquiry, and surveys, paired with product sense that ties user needs to business and technical outcomes.
• Track record of designing for early-stage products in fast, ambiguous, high-autonomy environments, with strong communication and stakeholder skills.
